The department consists of 56 youth housing units located centrally in Herning close to the train station. In 2017, the apartments received new kitchens with a range hood, combination oven, and refrigerator. There is a large common room and television lounge, and there is a laundry room in the department. There are parking spaces in the area. Electricity and heating must be paid for in addition to the rent. It is permitted to keep 1 indoor cat upon written application. Applicants must be in education or apprenticeship.
